A fun haven for the youth of New Canaan, CT

Here at the Outback New Canaan Teen Center is dedicated to providing a positive environment in New Canaan where teens are able to relax, socialize, participate in self-directed activities, and have the opportunity to contribute to the community. The Outback is about pre-teens and teens voicing their perspective, interests and connecting face to face with each other in a safe, substance-free and pressure free environment. We are here to support their IMG_1876creative options for fun and explore the possibilities.

Every school year many students visit the Outback for good, clean fun. They join in a variety of social events and program, imagined and developed by teens for teens and in the service opportunities through which participants build a sense of purpose, community and personal value. While they are here, they are discovering healthy social alternatives and building the resilience, responsibility and resourcefulness they will need as young adults.
