 The Outback Presents: Summer Math Adventure

Coinciding with our Chefs & Artists camp, we’ve added sessions to rewire your math brain this summer.

Larry Shiller, creator of the award-winning math system ShillerMath and founder of the Rising Stars Foundation, is joining us this summer to engage teens in a whole new math adventure!

Larry is on a mission to help teens learn – and enjoy – math. After Larry’s summer camp, your teen will never look at math the same way.  Using proven, Socratic and Montessori-based methods, Larry is going to recharge mathematical minds in a small group setting or one-on-one. The sessions will cover multi-sensory approaches to math, allowing kids to learn at their own pace while dramatically improving their SAT scores.

Cooking Once, Eating Twice

Workshop Price: $30 per adult
$15 per child

Join Certified Health Coaches, Gary Camillo and Debbie Buckett, for an informal, fun, and educational workshop all about plant-based food. Discover creative ways to use seasonal foods to create a menu that everyone will love. Learn to read food labels, watch food prepared right in front of you, and enjoy an evening of food, recipes, and take-away nutritional information.

What We’re Serving Up for Our First Workshop:

• Healthy chocolate and apple-quinoa smoothies, packed with vitamins and minerals
